The Little World
The Little World began within the pages of my journals. I used them as a way to find comfort within myself at a time when I had no idea who I was or where I wanted to be.
It began when I wrote a song about my body and soul being seperate and trying to find a way back to myself. The Little guy became my body as I tried to discover what my "soul" should look like.
Fast forward many drawings and no specific soul, I came across a world where I had removed any expectation of what I had to look like within the Little Guy.
I created a world where I felt my soul reflected on the pages of the world around them.
Within the drawings I use a combination of line work and poetry, sometimes colour, to connect to myself. I give myself reminders, help entice a smile or even just a little warm feeling in my core.
I use them as a way to remind myself that it is the little things that really make us feel whole.
I hope by sharing the Little Guys, in Their Little World I can help someone else smile, feel seen, maybe feel less alone. If I can give anything at all, I wish for my art to create a sense of connection, even just a little.
Welcome to The Little World.
you are worthy of love.
you deserve to feel connection.
your emotions are your own.
you are allowed to slow down and take a step at a time.
you are a human.
and we are all just humans floating on a rock.

Take Care
Take care is an A5 hand drawn original artwork. Each piece is completely drawn free hand which means I do not trace or sketch anything prior to the final design. This makes each piece unique.
I created the scene of Take Care as a small reminder; that by pouring your love into the world surrounding you, it almost unintentionally allows you to learn how to pour that love and care into yourself.
It has taken me quite some time to learn that I too am worthy of my own love and care. I hope these small gentle gestures help create a world of subtle reminders that how I love can co-exist within myself.
