Warm in Winter

Warm in Winter is an A5 original hand drawing. Each piece is completely drawn free hand which means I do not trace or sketch anything prior to the final design. This makes each piece unique.

This drawing is inspired by all of the adorable pups I see walking about the farmers market always dressed up in their coziest of winter coats. I decided to create this pups coat as an ode to childhood blankets. Growing up in the 2000’s I remember the blanket styles fondly. One I remember as a child was a dark blue blanket that had some sort of bear on it. I also recall the endless amounts of stars I would find on things. I like to keep these small child details that help me reminisce about the warm things.
